Steve and Phil are joined by master percussionist Johny Kalsi to perform Peter Gabriel’s classic song in the Mughal splendour of Sezincote gardens in the Cotswolds.
Written not long after I met Clare in Sidmouth - a rare venture into the emotional landscape!
The Mandocello turns out to be ideal for playing Mark Knopfler's iconic guitar riff. One of the most requested songs from Steve's solo shows, this version was filmed by Jolyon Holroyd.
I heard Boo sing this in the summer of 2022 and it reminded me of one of Frank Sinatra's classic bar room ballads. Great chords and perfect lyrics.
Recorded at the Forum in Bath. A new song born out of a collaboration with Scottish singer songwriter Ross Wilson. We met at Wickham Festival in 2022 and this song is hopefully the first of many! Thanks to Bryn Williams for providing the live setting.
